Elizabeth Evans Associate

Elizabeth Evans is an Associate attorney with Silver, Garvett & Henkel. She practices in numerous areas of real estate law, including: contract drafting and negotiation, residential and commercial real estate sales transactions, commercial real estate development and redevelopment, eminent domain, mortgage foreclosure, lease negotiation and landlord\tenant disputes, real estate litigation, property title examination, and real estate closings.

Ms. Evans was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001. She is admitted to practice before all the state and Federal courts in Florida.

After obtaining her Juris Doctor degree from Florida State University in 1993, she supervised governmental real estate negotiations and acquisitions on behalf of the State of Florida for approximately seven years. Elizabeth then entered the private sector and represented wireless telecommunication companies in facilities site acquisition and development where her responsibilities included: negotiation and drafting of contracts; review of ordinances and codes, title work, and due diligence; and coordinating zoning submittals and the zoning approval process in different Florida jurisdictions, including appearances before various governmental boards.

Since 2001, Elizabeth has concentrated her practice in title underwriting, real estate transactions, real estate contract disputes, quiet title actions, and eminent domain. Prior to becoming associated with Silver, Garvett and Henkel, she was employed with firms that represented major financial institutions in foreclosure actions and local real estate developers in land development and redevelopment.

Elizabeth enjoys various outdoor recreational activities including fishing and golf.
