David S. Forman Associate

David Forman is an Associate attorney with Silver, Garvett & Henkel. His practice focuses upon real estate law including: residential and commercial transactions, commercial real estate development and redevelopment, mortgage foreclosures, lease negotiation and landlord/tenant disputes, and real estate litigation. David also practices Sports & Entertainment law, representing a number of professional athletes and entertainers.

Mr. Forman obtained his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2005. He attended the University of Arizona as an undergraduate, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Retail and Consumer Studies. David played on the University of Arizona Men’s Soccer Team and later played for several semi-professional teams.

Before obtaining his law degree David worked with Lewis B. Freeman & Partners as a Senior Associate. At LBF&P, David provided consulting services to businesses, governmental agencies, courts and stockholders; coordinated the analysis of regulatory issues, fraud investigations, creditor relations and litigation support strategies. David has performed crisis management to stabilize and solve problems for distressed companies; overseen business operations and has been involved in the evaluation and resolution of business conflicts and disputes, including workouts, dissolutions and/or the sale of businesses.

After obtaining his law degree, David practiced real estate and probate law at Lawrence Jay Davis, P.A., and later was a Associate of Michael D. Weinstein, P.A., both in Miami.

Mr. Forman enjoys giving back to his community by regularly volunteering with the Special Olympics, Miami Youth Museum; Boys and Girls Clubs of America; Habitat for Humanity; Shake-A-Leg, and JAFCO-Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options.
